Procedures to Follow in the Event of an Accident
Check Health and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of all individuals who were in the car or in the other car involved in the accident.
Document the Accident: Take photos and videos of the accident at the scene without moving the vehicles, ensuring that the cars and their license plates are visible.
Collect Information from the Other Party: Request the following photos from the other party:
- Photos of both sides of the driver's license of the person who was driving the car. The driver's details should be included in the accident report.
- Photo of the vehicle registration.
- Photo of the vehicle's insurance policy.
- The other party's phone number for any emergencies.
Fill Out the Accident Report: Both drivers should fill out the accident report available in the car, with each driver completing their respective sections regarding data, drawing, and opinion. A company representative will be in contact with you from the first moments following the accident.
Note: Traffic police don't need to be present to complete the accident report; drivers can do this themselves by mutual agreement.
